The Port’s Harbor Patrol uses “VideoRay” remote operated vehicles, or ROVs, to enhance the Port’s underwater surveillance capabilities. These small miniature submersibles are equipped with video cameras and can be outfitted with sonar, radiation detectors and ship hull inspection systems. The Harbor Patrol has four ROVs in service.
