'Let's Talk Port,' the Port of Long Beach’s series of community forums, will kick off its 2010 season on January 21st at the Miller Family Health Education Center. The traveling forum is open to the public, giving residents a chance to interact with Port representatives and more importantly give feedback on the issues that matter to them. Four forums are planned for 2010. The first meeting will focus on the Port’s environmental initiatives and feature an update from Executive Director Richard D. Steinke. Afterwards, Port officials will answer questions and invite comments from participants. The Miller Family Health Education Center is located at 3820 Cherry Avenue, south of Carson Street. The forum will start at 6:30 p.m. and there will be light refreshments and giveaways for participants.
