‘First Fridays’ to Feature Port Centennial Photos A collection of photographs from the Port of Long Beach’s archives, many of which were featured at the Port’s 100th Birthday Party this summer, will be on display October 7 as part of the “First Fridays” event sponsored by the Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association.

Port Scholarships Awarded to 20 Local Students The Port of Long Beach on Friday, May 13, awarded $53,500 in scholarships to six local high school students and 14 college students to help them pursue careers in international trade and goods movement. The goal of the Port of Long Beach Scholarship Program is to help students prepare for future careers and leadership positions in the international business community.
