The Port of Long Beach is helping prepare a new generation of leaders to meet future challenges in the field of international trade by sponsoring scholarships for Long Beach-area students. Each year, the Port awards more than $60,000 to students to assist with education expenses.
Graduating Long Beach High School Seniors
The Port of Long Beach scholarship is an annual award for Long Beach high school seniors who plan to pursue careers in international trade, goods movement or other port-related industries. Scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $8,000. The 2009 application deadline is March 23.

California State University, Long Beach
International Business Students
The Port awards scholarships each year to international business students at California State University Long Beach. To qualify for scholarships, applicants must meet these requirements.
Graduate Students and Continuing Education
The Port provides scholarships to students pursuing a Master's Degree in Global Logistics and to students pursuing a certificate in Global Logistics through the University College and Extension Services at Cal State Long Beach.
