The Port of Long Beach has created volunteer opportunities good for service learning credit in the Long Beach Unified School District. Prior to each service learning opportunity, students will attend a brief session to learn about the Port and its contributions to the local community and environmental stewardship. The educational sessions are an additional way to earn service learning hours.
