Security at the Port of Long Beach

Learn firsthand about the highly skilled, high-tech, comprehensive efforts to protect the Port of Long Beach when the Port hosts a "Let's Talk Port" community forum on March 24. Talk to officials from the Port and from the security and law enforcement agencies that work together to safeguard this major economic engine and hub for international trade:

Let's Talk Port is a series of community get-togethers held throughout Long Beach that is intended to raise awareness and encourage public participation in Port projects and operations. These forums provide the public with an informal opportunity to meet Port officials and discuss Port-related topics that affect the community. Let's Talk Port gives Port staff a chance to provide information to citizens, but more importantly an opportunity for Port staff to hear the views of residents.

The series consists of four themed forums. The themes include; Environmental Stewardship, Career Paths in International Trade, Security, and The Port of the Future.

The series will conclude with:
