How to Get There

By Car

There will be a limited amount of free parking at the Long Beach Convention Center. If you are coming from the 710 South Freeway, be sure to use the "Downtown" exit.
Enter the convention center parking lot at Shoreline Drive and South Linden Avenue and look for our Green Port Fest shuttles. See the map for more details.
We encourage you to be "green" and try one of our fun, environmentally friendly alternatives to driving your car.

By Bus

For the most direct route to Green Port Fest, hop on a Long Beach Transit bus from anywhere in the city and link up with the Passport C to go straight to the Queen Mary. We'll have shuttle buses running continuously from the Queen Mary to the event entrance for our bus passengers.

We’ll even provide you with a free Green Port Fest bus pass.  Call us at (562) 590-4121 no later than September 25 to request your pass, while supplies last.  Then use Long Beach Transit's "trip planner" to map out your route. Be sure to list the Queen Mary as your final destination.  You can also call Long Beach Transit at (562) 591-2301 for information about Park 'n' Ride locations.

By Bicycle

We've partnered with the LB Cyclists to lead guided bicycle rides from Downtown Long Beach to the event.  Upon your arrival, LB Cyclists will valet your bicycle while you enjoy the festivities. By riding your bike, you can be among the first to experience the proposed new bike path, the Harbor Trail, on one of our guided bike tours.

To join one of our guided bicycle rides from downtown, meet at our Green Port Fest staging area on the Promenade between 1st Street and Ocean Blvd in Downtown Long Beach.  Guided rides will leave every 45 minutes from the Promenade starting at 9:30 a.m. until 1:15 p.m.

Guide Ride Schedule:

  • 9:30 a.m.
  • 10:15 a.m.
  • 11 a.m.
  • 11:45 a.m.
  • 12:30 p.m.
  • 1:15 p.m.

By Boat

Arrive at Green Port Fest just like a mariner – by boat!  Catch Long Beach Transit’s AquaLink water taxi service at Alamitos Bay Landing and get off at the Queen Mary.  Click here for the schedule and map.  Then take one of our Green Port Fest shuttles to the event entrance.
