Rail Tours Climb aboard a double-decker passenger train to see one of our cargo terminals in action, compliments of Metrolink. Watch dockworkers, truckers and crane operators unload containers and prepare them for distribution to stores all over the country. Trains depart from our Green Port Fest Train Station every hour beginning at 10:30 a.m. Last train leaves 2:30 p.m. Please line up about 30 minutes before departure time. Bicycle Tours Come to Green Port Fest on your bicycle. The Port, in partnership with LB Cyclists, is offering free bike valet. You can ride on your own to the event at 925 Harbor Plaza, but we recommend that you allow LB Cyclist to guide you from a staging area on the Promenade between 1st Street and Ocean Boulevard in downtown Long Beach. The guides will take riders to the event every 45 minutes beginning at 9:30 a.m. October 2. Also, there will be a pre-event bike tour at 9 a.m., taking riders on a hour-long, three-mile tour through the streets of the Port with stops at cargo terminals and the Pilot Station. Meet at the Promenade at 8:30 a.m. | |
