RFP for San Pedro Bay Container Chassis Supply Model - ADDENDUM 1 ISSUED 4/23/13

The Port of Long Beach is requesting proposals from consultants interested in providing project management services to develop a more efficient San Pedro Bay container chassis supply model, which will maximize the overall net benefit of all stakeholders.

The ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles have entered into a cost sharing agreement for all costs associated with the contract. Contract administration and management will be undertaken by the Port of Long Beach Master Planning Division.

Proposals are due to the Port of Long Beach no later than April 29, 2013 at 4 p.m. (Pacific Time).

Update on April 23: 

Addendum No. 1 has been issued, which includes the revised "Request for Proposals for a Chassis Supply Model.". 

  • On page 8, Sample Consulting Services Contract language has been revised. Along with the Port of Long Beach, the Port of Los Angeles will also be included as an indemnified party in the actual contract.
  • On page 9, Insurance Requirements language has been revised to include the City of Los Angeles Board of Harbor Commissioners.
  • Attachment E - Insurance Requirements has been updated.
