Port of Long Beach Training Forums: NOT Just for Small Businesses!
The Port of Long Beach conducts periodic training forums to familiarize licensed construction contractors, professional service providers, vendors and suppliers with the Port’s SBE/VSBE Program, contracting process, and bidding requirements.
SBEs and VSBEs are encouraged to attend to learn how to register, obtain SBE certification, and participate in the program. Large firms are also encouraged to attend to learn about program requirements and how to locate SBEs and VSBEs for Port projects. The training forums also provide an excellent opportunity for primes and subs to network and exchange contact information for future teaming opportunities.
