Closure to Ramp from Pier T to Westbound Ocean Boulevard

Detour starts this week, will continue up to nine weeks

February 26, 2013

A temporary closure to the connector from Pier T Avenue to westbound Ocean Boulevard starting Thursday, Feb. 28, will require motorists trying to head west from Pier T to take a detour. The closure will continue for up to nine weeks.

Cars and trucks that need to head west toward the 47 Freeway or San Pedro from Pier T must first take the ramp to the eastbound Gerald Desmond Bridge.

Once on the eastbound Gerald Desmond Bridge, take the transition to the 710 Freeway north, and continue to exits for westbound Anaheim Street or westbound Pacific Coast Highway. Motorists can loop back around to go south on the 710 Freeway and then to the westbound Gerald Desmond, or simply head west on Anaheim or PCH to your destination.
