A public hearing will be held to gather input on a study that will identify and evaluate improvements to existing navigation channels, enhancing safety, reliability and efficiency for vessels visiting the Port of Long Beach.

The hearing is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16 in the Board Room of the Port Interim Administrative Offices, 4801 Airport Plaza Drive in Long Beach. The public is welcome to submit comments and suggestions on what issues should be examined in a comprehensive environmental study of the proposal.
