Consumer Electronics Association Makes a Stop at the Port

The CEA's nationwide tour stops at the Port Admin Building to promote trade

The Consumer Electronics Association's 28-state tour stopped at the Port on Tuesday to raise awareness of the benefits of trade.

Long Beach Mayor Bob Foster and other officials spoke at CEA's "America Wins with Trade" tour stop in front of the Port Administration Building. Harbor Commissioner Mario Cordero also spoke about millions of jobs supported by international trade.

"Trade is a beneficial to everyone," added Maurice Bernier, consul and trade commissioner of Canada, "[It] is a rising tide that raises all ships at the same time."
