'Let's Talk Port' September 30

September 30 will be the next date in series of informal gatherings

September 22, 2008

"Let's Talk Port" -- the Port's traveling series of informal and informative community gatherings -- returns with three sessions this fall to share the latest updates and hear your thoughts on Port-related topics including air quality, port redevelopment, economic outlook and security improvements:

- September 30, 6 p.m., Ernest McBride Community Center, 1550 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

- October 20, 7 p.m., El Dorado Park Senior Center, 2800 Studebaker Road.

- November 12, 7 p.m., Cabrillo High School Room 309, 2001 Santa Fe Ave.

The workshops begin with a brief overview of the Port, and then the floor is opened up to residents' questions, concerns and comments. Port officials will be available to chat with residents. The event is free and the public is welcome to come and listen and join in the discussion. Refreshments and giveaways will be available.
