Port's Information Management Wins Award

The Port of Long Beach has won the prestigious CIO 100 Awards, which recognizes 100 organizations worldwide that have distinguished themselves by creating business value through the effective and innovative use of information technology.
The Port won recognition for its work in creating the Clean Trucks Program database to register and monitor thousands of drayage trucks using radio frequency identification. The CIO 100 award is presented annually by CIO magazine, a trade publication serving information technology managers and leaders.
