Closure Continues on Pico Off-ramp from Eastbound Ocean Blvd.

Connector to reopen by morning of Friday, Sept. 16

September 9, 2011

A repaving project near Pier E at the Port of Long Beach has required the closing of the off-ramp from eastbound Ocean Boulevard to Pico Avenue. The ramp is expected to open in time for the Friday morning commute, Sept. 16.

Another closure will be required at a later date to be determined for both the Pico off-ramp from eastbound Ocean and the on-ramp to eastbound Ocean from Pico in the Port of Long Beach. See a larger map.

The Port is funding the $200,000 resurfacing project. The Port of Long Beach is committed to keeping Harbor District roadways maintained in good condition and to minimizing the impacts of construction on motorists.
