Seats Now Available for October Port Harbor Tours

Final dates for free Centennial Year tours

September 22, 2011

Are you ready for a behind-the-scenes look at the Port of Long Beach in action? It’s your last chance in 2011 to reserve a seat on one of the Port’s free community harbor tours. The Port has extended its harbor tour season into October, so book your reservations today.

In celebration of the Port's Centennial Year, the 2011 harbor tours have a historic focus. Participants can see the location of the Port’s first shipment in 1911, watch how oil extraction in the 1930s and '40s caused the land to sink and view 1950s transit sheds, among all the sights of today’s modern Port.

There are still seats available for several tours on Saturdays and Tuesdays. Click here to reserve your seat and get more information on our community harbor tours and departure times.
